About Turneffe Atoll
Considered globally significant, Turneffe Atoll is one of the most pristine areas within the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System. In 2012, the Government of Belize established the Turneffe Atoll Marine Reserve – now the largest in the country. Its unique mix of offshore mangroves, seagrass beds and extensive coral reefs make it an important habitat for many endemic and threatened species. Their future depends on its continued protection.
10% of proceeds will be donated to the Turneffe Atoll Marine Reserve to support their efforts in protecting this unique place.
